I have seen a documetary on the PBS station and it never mentioned anything of the sort. Lot of interviews with Annie, his exwife, but no mention of him being gay. He is from Fort Worth, graduated from high school here while his military father was stationed here, and over the years, a lot has been in the papers about him. He had some depression problems but never a mention of his being gay.
